The Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland (ACEI) was founded in 1938 by the leaders of the Irish consulting engineering sector. We are the representative body for Consulting Engineering professionals and firms and confers professional status on its members. The ACEI’s purpose is to highlight the excellence of our members and shape policy so they can thrive. We believe that consulting engineering firms play a vital role in solving the world’s housing, infrastructure and climate crises, and our role is to help them do so.

As a result, the ACEI engages with all societal stakeholders including government committees to shape the business environment. The ACEI drives best practice, sustainability, and ethical conduct among its members, promoting excellence in firm operations. We actively encourage and facilitate our members to promote professional development amongst their staff and the ACEI’s FConsEI and RConsEI professional statuses are highly esteemed accreditations.

As a result, we’re proud that the ACEI logo remains a recognisable signal of quality in the industry.
