The Corporate Enforcement Authority (CEA) is Ireland’s company law enforcement agency.

We promote high standards of corporate behaviour through the enforcement of company law. Our Mission is to promote and serve the public interest by ensuring high levels of compliance with company law through effective advocacy and proportionate, robust, and dissuasive enforcement.

The CEA’s role is to:

encourage compliance with company law, and

take appropriate enforcement action in response to non-compliance.
